一期一會，意旨一輩子只有一次的機會，因為當下的時光不會再來，需珍重以待。
在日本為期一年的打工度假期間，不僅體會當地的文化、工作、人際關係，最重要的是遇到了很棒很棒的室友。室友們來自日本各地，有不同的家庭背景、職業，但都是非常溫柔的人，一年之中除了舉辦多次的party、結伴出遊、更一起去台灣玩。因此將這一年發生的大小事、各式活動、住宅空間集結成一本小誌，記錄這最溫柔的魔幻時光。
One encounter, one chance, is generally reasoned that something which happens only once in a lifetime, a once-in-a-lifetime encounter, has to be an exceedingly special occasion, and the expression is commonly limited to this usage.
During the year of working holiday in Japan, I encounter not only the traditional culture but also friend relationship, I meet my best roommates. Though we are from different places with different personalities, we still have a lot good time. Therefore, I collect all the special moment we had shared, turning the most cherishable time into Olive Zine.
